Improved Organic Solvent Nanofiltration (OSN)

By increasing the membrane-solvent affinity, solvent fluxes as well as solute retentions can be substantially increased. Ceramic membranes are stable in solvent environments. However, their strong polar surface strongly limits the number of applications in OSN.
